Invest in Government Securities Online

 

The State Bank of Pakistan has launched InvestPak, a digital platform that allows individuals and businesses to invest directly in Government of Pakistan securities online. According to the government, investments can start from just Rs 5,000, making government-backed investments accessible to small investors. (State Bank of Pakistan)

How to invest through InvestPak

1. Visit the official InvestPak Portal or download the InvestPak mobile app.

2. Register using:

   • Your CNIC

   • A Pakistani bank account (IBAN)

   • Your registered mobile number and email

3. If you do not already have one, request an Investor Portfolio Securities (IPS) account during registration. This account is required to hold government securities. (Invest Pak)

4. Complete OTP verification and wait for your bank to approve your registration.

5. Once your account is active, you can:

   • Invest in primary auctions of government securities.

   • Buy or sell eligible securities in the secondary market.

Available government securities include:

• Market Treasury Bills (MTBs)

• Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs)
